Welcome to God Camping! If you desire
to take your relationship with God to a deeper level, God
Camping can help! And it's specifically designed for
outdoorsmen. God Camping is simply about men gathering once
a month for an overnight campout that includes group Bible
study, a devotional, and discussion. During a God Camping
overnight camping experience, men gather around a campfire
to discuss Biblical truth from a book they are reading
together. These camping activities also allow men to be
alone with GOD and uniquely experience His presence. When
you reflect on Biblical history, GOD specifically interacted
with and grew men by leading them into the wilderness for a
campout with Him in lonely, deserted places.

Jesus -- Led the disciples to a
desolate place for rest. Mark 6.31 ESV

Moses -- Moses had his burning
bush encounter with God in the wilderness. Exodus 3:1-4:17

John the Baptist -- Lived and
ministered in a rough mountainous wilderness region. Luke 3
1-6

Elijah -- Camped by a brook as
directed by God. 1st Kings 17:1-6
When you ponder the question of why
God made me, it ultimately comes down to your relationship
with Him. God desires a personal and deep relationship with
each human being. From the beginning in the Garden of Eden,
we see God wishing to walk with Adam and to have a personal
relationship with him. (Genesis 3:8). God says that He
desires this personal relationship many times throughout the
Bible, such as in Jeremiah 29:13: "You will seek Me and find
Me when you search for Me with all your heart."
A group campout with this specific
idea of pursuing God can be deep, intimate, and
revitalizing. This website is a resource and guide for
starting a God Camping group or applying this concept to
yourself.
